Boot camp 2021

On June 16th I got to make the journey with a fellow squad mate down to Georgia for 4 days. I expected and hoped to see God move and reassure me of this journey, but what I experienced was so much more than I could ever hope for. I met the most welcoming, kind, and courageous people I’ve ever met. I thank the Lord for my team because even through the struggles of boot camp they were by my side. When you put 41 18-20 year olds together on one campsite a lot of drama can happen. But we were blessed. I experienced unconditional love and support through each challenge. Through new foods, busy schedule, and the experience with “bathrooms” our squad went through each thing as a team and supporting without judgement. I believe that this is where God intends for me to be. Throughout the worship and wonderful speakers I felt the Holy Spirit within me and working on me  God is preparing me for this trip and I appreciate each and every supporter. Thank you so much for helping me to follow Gods calling on my life and I’m very excited to continue raising money for the journey ahead ♥?

  1. At one point, I mentioned to a friend that most of the pictures on my camera roll from my WR were pictures of questionable bathrooms! Wahh! I love that overall, God gave you MORE than you asked for/imagined during Boot Camp, which is a direct reflection of Ephesians 3:20 in that God is able to do IMMEASURABLY MORE than you could ever ask or imagine. And this is just the start šŸ™‚ EEK!

  2. God is preparing you for how He wants to make you more like Jesus while on the race. Jesus will meet you right where it’s needed.
Praying you experience more unconditional love and support through each challenge you encounter.
Looking forward to meeting you in September!

  3. Iā€™m praying that you enjoy your gap year experience, come back safe and go to college. Love you to the moon and back!
